Welcome to Fort Montessori Academy
From the Director’s Desk
Hello,My name is Martha Rude. I have been at Fort Montessori Academy since we’ve opened our doors in 2010. I would like to thank you for taking time to visit our website and would like to welcome you to visit our school at your earliest convenience. At Fort Montessori Academy we strongly believe in allowing a child to explore, discover and grow by being whoever he/she is. Childhood is precious and we want to make sure your child enjoys being a child. For this to happen, I strongly believe the child has to feel safe and secure and be loved. For this to occur, our teachers and staff need to develop a bond with the child. As a Director, I encourage my staff to build relationships with the child and the parent and make the child feel at home. I am a mother of 4 and live in Allen, Texas. I have a Bachelor of Science degree and taught for 15 years before becoming the Director of Fort Montessori Academy. I am Montessori Certified and have hands on experience being in the classroom. I love my job and my staff and the thing that makes me the most happy is to see a smile on a child’s face – either accomplishing something or just playing around. I feel sad to see little ones graduate and leave our school, but am proud that my staff and I were able to make a difference in their lives
The mission of Fort Montessori Academy (FMA) is to create a dynamic environment where children learn through the process of discovery at a pace suited to each child in a clean and child friendly facility where order and self discipline go hand in hand using the Montessori based method and philosophy.
